Up Past 10 Band is a free concert and is fun for the entire family featuring a mix of rock, music from the 70’s through today along with the Craft and Cask event.

This community event assists in raising funds for Heroes Supporting Heroes. Did you ever wonder how hard it is to have a loved one who is a member of the United States military deployed overseas in a dangerous foreign country? Think of the parent with young children whose spouse has been deployed. What happens when the everyday household repairs and maintenance arise that they might have depended upon their spouse to take care of? Or the elderly neighbor who can no longer complete basic home repairs? A broken water heater, leaky roof, flooded basement, backed up plumbing, etc. Well, that is exactly what Heroes Supporting Heroes (HSH) is all about!

Chances are, you know someone who has been touched by autism. My personal connection is that my son, Nathan, was diagnosed at 18 months with autism spectrum disorder. Thanks to therapy and a lot of support, Nathan attends public school and is doing wonderfully. I launched the Fade Away Festival as a way to help other families impacted by autism.

Run for Shelter 5K

The Run for Shelter 5K is our 4th annual 3.11 mile timed race and fun walk. Each year, this event multiplies in size. The 2017 race is expected to be the largest and most attended 5K. The course will run through Southpointe Towne Center and will be timed by Smiley Miles. Dogs and children friendly race. You can walk or run the race. Please have rabies proof for dogs and must be on leash.
